After 302 days of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin has quit calling it a 'special military operation.' Responding to Ukraine President's Washington DC visit, Putin said that Russia's goal is to end this war. The U.S. on the other hand, snubbed Volodymyr Zelensky's request to arm Ukraine with M1 Abrams tanks and long-range ATACMS. The Pentagon claimed that Ukraine military was not trained to handle such weapons. In Kherson, where the battle has intensified, a Russia-installed official was killed in a car bomb attack.
