China Headed For War With U.S.? Xi Sanctions 9 U.S. Defence Forms Over Taiwan Arms Sales

China imposed sanctions on nine US military-industrial firms over arms sales to Taiwan. China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Lin Jian on Wednesday called it a 'serious violation' of the one-China principle and an infringement on China's sovereignty and security interests. He urged the United States to adhere to the one-China principle and the three joint communiques between China and the US, calling for an immediate halt to arming Taiwan and ceasing support for Taiwan's independence.
