'Homework...': U.P Cops Claim 'No Communal Angle' In Muzaffarnagar Video | Rahul, Owaisi Fume

Amid widespread outrage, Uttar Pradesh police has claimed that there is no communal angle to a video from Muzaffarnagar in which a Muslim student is being thrashed by his classmates on the directions of their teacher. The cops said that the teacher's remark on Mohammedan (Muslim) students had academic and not communal context. The video, which has sparked outrage and has been termed as a hate crime, also triggered a political storm with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and AIMIM Chief Asaddudin Owaisi directly blaming the BJP for 'hate' and 'communal poison' in the country.
