India, Pakistan Issue Warning After Kyrgyzstan Students Thrash Foreign Nationals | 'Stay Indoors'

The Indian government has advised nationals in Kyrgyzstan to stay indoors amid large-scale mob violence against foreign students. The Indian consulate in Kyrgyzstan said, 'We are in touch with our students'. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar also advised students to stay in regular touch with the embassy. The Pakistani Embassy said that the matter escalated after videos of a fight between Kyrgyz and Egyptian students on May 13 went viral online on Friday. Several Pak students also suffered injuries.
