Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) units are deployed in Yemen. According to reports, commanders and advisors of the IRGC are on the ground. They are reportedly playing a direct role in Houthi rebel attacks in the Red Sea. The IRGC has reportedly stationed missile and drone trainers and operators in Yemen. The report comes amid Houthi attacks on U.S. ships in the Red Sea region.
