Did the Iran conflict just enter a dangerous new phase? Iranian officials claim a U.S. strike on the Bunji desalination plant in Jask County, Hormozgan province, has left nearly 10,000 people without drinking water after disrupting supplies to 20 villages. Tehran says desalination pumps and the plant's main power transformer were destroyed, calling the attack a "crime" and a "terrorist attack against civilians."
