Iran vows fightback as Khatibzadeh slams US‑Israel ‘existential war’ | Trump

At New Delhi’s Raisina Dialogue, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh calls the US‑Israel onslaught an “existential war” aimed at ending Iran’s very existence, vowing Tehran has “no option” but to fight back and ultimately end the American military presence in the Persian Gulf. He mocks Donald Trump’s demand to help pick Iran’s next leader, sneering that the president “cannot even appoint the mayor of New York,” and laments that Washington has forgotten “the essence of diplomacy … and not dictation” as Trump openly talks about regime change from afar.
