Iranian FM hails ‘good start’ to Oman nuclear talks, plan further consultations

Nuclear talks between Iran and the United States held in Oman on Friday were a good beginning and will continue, said Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi. "Today, some good discussions were held on (in Muscat) the views of both sides were heard, and it was agreed that the talks would continue," Araqchi told state TV. "But the continuation of the negotiations is conditional on negotiators holding consultations in their capitals and deciding how to proceed with the talks," he said. Officials from both sides, who held indirect talks through Omani mediation in Oman's capital Muscat, will return home for consultations, Araqchi said. Watch for more
