Israel is facing mounting economic and civilian costs as Iran’s missile and drone barrage enters its 11th day. According to Israeli reports, more than 9,000 damage claims have been filed for buildings, vehicles and equipment hit during the attacks. The strikes—linked to Iran’s Operation True Promise and launched by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps—have included cluster munitions targeting central Israeli cities such as Holon and Bat Yam. Despite the pressure, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has moved to boost defence spending as the war with Iran escalates.
