Israel claimed to have eliminated Hamas's commander behind the surprise assault on October 7. Israel Defense Forces reported that Hamas Commando Forces Chief Ali was killed in a drone strike. According to the IDF, Qadi was a company commander within the elite 'Nukhba' unit. Earlier in the day, Israel also claimed to have killed the head of Hamas Air Force Merad Abu Merad. Watch for more.
