Kabul blasts: 4 US marines among 60 killed, Taliban say 'area under US forces'

• Twin blasts outside Kabul airport left at least 40 dead and over 60 injured. The Pentagon has confirmed the death of US military personnel among civilian casualties in what is being suspected as a suicide bomb attack. Taliban has condemned the blasts & said that the attack happened in an area where US is responsible for security. Hospitals were flooded with the injured after the blasts and social media videos show bodies lying around the Kabul airport. The attack came after US intelligence agencies’ recent warning of a terror attack at the Hamid Karzai International airport. The blast reportedly took place in the morning.
