A BBC investigation has revealed horrific details of how Afghan migrants, trying to escape to Europe, are being kidnapped and tortured on the Iran-Turkey border. The BBC report says the migrants are being held hostage, tortured and sexually assaulted by gangs. Their videos are reportedly being sent to their families, demanding ransom.
