PM Modi & Iran’s President Meet Amid Mid-East Tensions; Pezeshkian Seeks India’s Help In… | Watch

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, on October 22. PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with Pezeshkian and discussed the situation in the Middle East. Indian foreign secretary Vikram Misri told reporters that "Pezeshkian emphasised the need for peace and harmony in the region and the role that India could play in de-escalating the conflict, given its good relations with all the parties involved."
