Putin Sends Russian Warships To Red Sea As U.S., UK & EU Struggle To Stop Houthi Attacks

Russian warships sailed into the Red Sea amid missile and drone attacks on vessels by Yemen-based Houthi rebels. Part of Russia's Pacific Fleet, the warships include the missile cruiser Varyag and frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov. Last week Bloomberg reported that Russia and China had struck a deal with the Iran-backed rebels, where they would allow Russian and Chinese ships to venture into the maritime region without being attacked.
