Revealed: Why Iran Used ‘Fattah-2’ Hypersonic Missiles To Target Israel In ‘Op Honest Promise 2’

Iran used hypersonic missiles for the first time during its strikes on Israel, according to the IRGC. Fattah-2 hypersonic missiles were reportedly used in the attack to bypass Israeli radars. Hypersonic missiles can fly anywhere from five to 25 times the speed of sound. Tehran revealed its first such missile—the Fattah-1'—last’ June and ‘Fattah-2’ in November. The IRGC claimed 80-90% of the missiles used in ‘Op, Honest Promise 2’ struck their targets.
