Russia batters Kyiv with 23 Iranian drones; Ukraine watches Putin's Minsk visit

In an overnight attack on Kyiv just days after biggest attack on the Ukrainian capital, Russia sent 23 drones to batter the city's energy infrastructure further. Ukraine claimed that it shot down 18 drones and that they used leftover Iran-made ammunition to target Kyiv. The attacks came as Russian President Vladimir Putin began his travel to Belarus. This will be his first visit to Minsk in the last three years. Ukraine fears that Putin might convince Belarus President Lukashenko to join its war against Kyiv.
