- Russia has dismissed allegations of mass graves in the recaptured city of Izyum by Ukraine as 'fabricated lies'. After Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian troops of committing war crimes, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, “It’s the same scenario as in Bucha. It’s a lie, and of course we will defend the truth in this story.” Around 450 bodies have been found in mass graves near Izyum after Russian troops retreated from the Kharkiv region.
