Russia rewarded its armed forces for the capture of Avdiivka in Ukraine. The Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu awarded the Center Group Commander with a "Golden Star". Russia captured Avdiivka last month, making it Moscow's most significant battleground gain since Bakhmut. Russia has now launched attacks on Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city.
