Russian adventurer Fedor Konyukhov just set a world record for circumnavigating the globe solo in a hot air balloon. He finished his entire journey in just 11 days and landed in a field in Western Australia, from where he had begun his journey. Konyukhov flew up to 10,000 meters high and had to suffer extreme cold which made his oxygen masks and water to freeze. The previous record of 13 and half days was held by the late Steve Fossett.
