A significant meeting of the Chinese Communist Party is currently underway. President Xi Jinping is looking to secure an unprecedented third term in power at the meeting. A rare resolution on 'major achievements and historical experience of the Party's 100 years of struggle' is also likely to be adopted at the summit. This would be only the third such resolution in the CCP's 100-year history.
