Taj Mahal, gold bracelet & more: Why Trump ‘hid’ gifts received from PM Modi

Former US President Donald Trump and his family failed to disclose over 100 gifts worth over $250,000 they received from foreign countries during his time in the White House. According to a report released on Friday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, Trump and his family got a total of 117 gifts, of which 17 were sent from India and reportedly cost nearly $50,000. The gifts include a Taj Mahal replica worth $4,600 ( ₹3.8 lakh) and a gold bracelet that were gifted to Modi. Reportedly, the most expensive gift from India was a Makrana marble vase costing $8,500 ( ₹7 lakh) given by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath in 2021. Watch this video to know more.
