Trump hints at receiving ‘significant’ oil-linked gift from Iran amid secret talks

U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Tuesday cryptically that he got a present from Iran "worth a tremendous amount of money," telling reporters it revealed to him that "we're talking to the right people." Trump wouldn't say what the gift was, only that it was "oil and gas related" and very significant. "They gave us a present," Trump said to reporters in the Oval Office. "I'm not going to tell you what that present is but it was a very significant prize." Asked if he trusts the Iranians said to be in talks with U.S. representatives, Trump said he doesn’t trust anybody but alluded to receiving a "gift" that he said suggested “we’re dealing with the right people.” Watch for more
