UK fashion industry fears how Brexit will affect them

As London Fashion Week commences, many fear what Brexit will bring to the fashion industry. The thriving industry generated about 41 billion US dollars last year. Industry leaders warn that Brexit could jeopardise the flow of creative people and ideas. CEO of Fashion Roundtable, Tamara Cincik wants people to understand that fashion is more than catwalks. “This is a business that day in day out provides almost 900,000 jobs for the UK economy. You know, you will know, all of us will know someone down the line who is working somewhere in, whether it's in retail, or it's in designer or it's in import or export or logistics who are in some way involved with the fashion industry,” said Tamara.
