U.S Army grounds 400 Chinook helicopters; IAF seeks details. Here’s Why

- The U.S Army has grounded its entire fleet of 400 Chinook helicopters. The U.S army cited risk of engine fires as the reason to put the battlefield workhorse since the 1960s, out of service. "The grounding of the heavy-lift Chinook helicopters could pose logistical challenges for American soldiers, depending on how long the order lasts," according to the Wall Street Journal. India has about 15 CH-47 Chinook helicopters. As per ANI report, India is concerned after U.S army's decision and the Indian Air Force has sought details of the reasons behind the grounding from Boeing. Watch this video for more details.
