Watch | 83-year-old delights in pole climbing contest

The World Pole Climbing championship was held in Warwickshire, UK. An 83-year-old man, George Tipping participated in this contest and was the oldest competitor. This popular pole climber was 3 years older than the tree he was climbing. His grandson, 19-year-old Dan Whelan won the championship and even beat the world record. He finished in 9.961 seconds. The climbers had to climb 82 feet up the timber poles.
