Britain's Prince Harry is accusing the media of subjecting his new, American girlfriend to a wave of abuse and harassment. In a statement, the prince lashed out, saying the press coverage of actress Meghan Markle carries racial undertones. He also accuses social media sites of sexism and racism. Harry and his brother, Prince William, have had a strained relationship with the media since the death of their mother, Princess Diana, in 1997. But his comments still caught royal reporters like Camilla Tominey by surprise.
