Hectic lives and the pressure to look good is leading to a growing trend for permanent makeup. Tracie Giles's Knightsbridge salon in London has been providing the service to her high-end customers for years, but she says more and more people are showing interest. Permanent makeup usually means semi-permanent, unless you are getting tattooed. It's relies on placing colour pigments under the skin with micro, or acupuncture needles. Treatments like this can cost £600 depending on where the treatment is done. But the decision shouldn't be taken lightly. Any procedure with needles could lead to infections and the hygiene of the salon is paramount. Also, the impact and length of time that the treatment lasts can vary.
