Xi faces 1000-mile problem just before Taiwan 'war': Japan’s new missiles can reach deep into China?

Japan has successfully conducted its first live-fire test of a U.S.-made Tomahawk cruise missile from a warship, marking a major milestone in its expanding long-range strike capabilities. The test, carried out with U.S. support, comes as regional tensions with China and North Korea continue to rise. Tokyo is also moving ahead with plans to acquire up to 400 Tomahawk missiles, significantly enhancing its stand-off defense capability. The development is expected to deepen U.S.-Japan military cooperation and could have major implications for security across the Taiwan Strait and the wider Indo-Pacific region.
