Zelensky warns of massive Russian energy strikes ahead of Geneva peace talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russia is preparing new “massive” strikes on Ukraine’s energy system just as Kyiv, Moscow, and Washington head into US‑brokered trilateral talks in Geneva. He cautioned that the more Russia exploits the last cold days of winter to hit civilians and infrastructure, the harder it will be for anyone to reach real peace agreements with Moscow.
