Viral Video | England church’s musical tribute to David Bowie
Updated on Jan 13, 2016 04:20 pm IST
St. Albans Cathedral recreated David Bowie's hit “Starman” in a memorial tribute to the musician. In the video an empty St. Albans Cathedral can be seen as a sombre and ethereal version of Starman is played out of organ pipes visible in the background. The church called the video a special tribute to David Bowie in a post on their official Facebook page. It has gathered over 2.6 million views on the social media website. Bowie, the visionary British rock star who framed other hits such as “Space Oddity” with trend-setting pop personas like “Ziggy Stardust,” died on Sunday of cancer, just two days after releasing what appears to be the parting gift of a new album.
