A flow of lava has stalled from the main village road in the town of Pahoa, officials on the Big Island of Hawaii confirmed. Lava flowing from Kilauea volcano has been moving slowly toward communities in the Big Island's lower Puna district. A breakout of the flow remains about 100 yards from a house. President Obama signed a disaster declaration for the lava flow on Monday.
