Watch | These New Year twins were born a ‘year’ apart
Updated on Jan 04, 2016 04:34 pm IST
A baby girl and her brother are born three minutes apart at a San Diego hospital -- just before and after the New Year, making them born in different years.
Jaelyn Valencia was born at 11:59 p.m. on New Year's Eve. After saying goodbye to 2015, the parents said hello to their new son Luis, born at 12:02am on New Year's Day. Hospital staff say the infants were born happy and healthy and the parents are doing well.
They say they're already anticipating sibling rivalry could lead to one twin playing the “age card” over the other.
