Updated on Apr 27, 2016 03:46 pm IST
The Owl Forest cafe in Tokyo is taking customers by surprise. It is located in the city's electronic district of Akihabara. As soon so you enter the space, you see owls everywhere - some watching curiously, others being petted while perched on a visitor's arm. Designed to look a bit like a theme park, this cafe has 33 owls at any one time and the variety of birds that can be found here takes most customers by surprise. The next time you're in Tokyo, you can pay INR 600 per hour to pet an owl and enjoy a free beverage while you're at it.
