Pak competing with India to forge military ties with Russia? Bilawal in Moscow meets Lavrov

Strengthening cooperation between India and Russia in recent months has pushed Islamabad to intensify its cooperation with Moscow. Pakistan's foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is on a visit to Moscow where he sought close military ties with Russia. Addressing a joint news conference with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that strengthening relations with Russia remains an important priority for Pakistan. During bilateral talks, Bilawal also pushed for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.
