Ukraine claimed its forces are making significant advances into Russian territory amid the Kursk incursion. Ukraine Army Chief, Oleksandr Syrsky, claimed that Ukrainian forces now control 74 settlements and have captured "hundreds" of Russian soldiers. The Ukrainian army chief highlighted Kyiv’s ability to achieve its goals and defend its interests.
