Trump and Elon Musk reunite at Charlie Kirk's funeral amid H-1B chaos, seen chatting

Once close allies turned rivals, Trump and Musk were seen sitting together and talking at Charlie Kirk’s funeral, hinting at eased tensions.

Since their very public fallout, Elon Musk and Donald Trump have not been seen together in public. From being Trump's "First Buddy" to falling out with Trump administration officials over the ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ Musk and Trump's relationship has come a long way.

Despite their fallout, a moment at Charlie Kirk's funeral in Arizona suggested that all might not be sour between Musk and Trump. The official broadcast of the event Trump and Elon Musk sitting side-by-side with Musk and discussing things at Charlie Kirk's funeral in Glendale, Arizona.

Notably, the “warm” meeting between Elon Musk and Trump at the State Park came amidst Trump's decision to impose a one-time fee of $100,000 on H-1B visas recently. Musk, who has been a vocal supporter of the H-1B visa, given that his companies have a significant number of employees on H-1B visa, has kept quiet on Trump's decision.

While there was speculation that Musk will speak out against Trump's order, nothing to that effect happened. Instead, Trump seemed to be chatting warmly with his former “First Buddy” as they remembered Charlie Kirk at his memorial.

After the funeral, the White House also posted a photo of Trump and Musk together at the funeral. The caption of the photo read: “POTUS x @ElonMusk For Charlie.”

Trump and Musk’s possible reconciliation could be a major political turn after their clash over the president’s Big Beautiful Bill spending plan. The White House downplayed Musk’s criticism, with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt calling it an “unfortunate episode.”
