Art Positive's sixth annual art show starting Monday will display a group exhibition of 75 new works by 40 artists across genres, generations and geographies. Here, the artists have explored devotion in a contemporary context. The show titled 'Devotion-Invocation' will present expressions of both physical and spiritual concepts. Spread over varied forms and media, the show that features works by Manu Parekh, Subodh Kerkar among others brings together faith, fact and fantasy. Peak of achievement
Australian adventurer Susan Hunt reached the 'peak' of her accomplishments as she climbed to the Mt Everest summit in May this year. She shares her experiences in an illustrated talk that takes the audience through her journey up the mountain, including time spent at the Everest Base Camp. A self-proclaimed person of 'average ability', Hunt shows how a zealous sense of adventure can achieve more than average dreams.

Absence of the affluent
Here's a performance that promises to shock and tickle its audience. A Goremet Affair is a farcical comedy based on Joseph Kesselring's play Arsenic and Old Lace. Based on an eccentric family residing in upscale Delhi, it includes two widowed sisters and their two nephews - one eccentric and the other, a famous drama critic named Nikhil. Everything around this motley family seems fine till Delhi's opulent women start to go missing. Nikhil is unable to digest a possible link between the missing ladies and his aunts. What happens next? Take a look into the 'supposed pasts, potential future and presumed presents' at Roop Katha - an art exhibition of works based on the artists' personal memories. The pieces reflect kathas or stories that the artists have heard through their childhoods and shared with others. Fourteen artists have each contributed two works to this exhibition which weaves fantasy and fairytale through vibrant energetic colours.
