Bollywood stars have kicked off the Raksha Bandhan festivities with their siblings. Abhishek Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Aditi Rao Hydari and others posted adorable pictures with their brothers and sisters to celebrate the happy festival.

Abhishek took to Instagram to share a childhood photo with his big sister Shweta Nanda. “Partners in crime since the days of matching pajamas! Happy Rakhi Shwetdi! Love you,” he captioned the photo. He also posted pics from the Rakhi celebrations at their Mumbai home before he took a flight to Amritsar to promote his film, Manmarziyaan.

Deepika Padukone wished her sister, Anisha, on the occasion with a childhood picture as well. “like always...i promise to love you,protect you and bug you...forever! I love you smallie,” she captioned the photo. Deepika’s rumoured boyfriend and actor Ranveer Singh also could not help himself from commenting ‘Awwwwww!’

Sonam Kapoor made a special post about her many brothers. She posted a throwback picture from her wedding in which all the boys are seen holding her wedding veil. “To my brothers a very very happy Rakhee... I’m so thankful to have all of you in my life.. love you all a lot! And sorry I’m not there today to tie you rakhee.. your favourite sister, Sonam,” she captioned the photo.

Sara Ali Khan shared the cutest pictures with her brother Ibrahim. The two are seen celebrating the festival with their adorable dog. “Happy Raksha Bandhan to all brothers and sisters! @iakpataudi I promise to always look out for you and be there for you (even when you don’t want me around) and I hope you continue to boss me around and bully me till you get your way (partly because your way is probably smarter than mine) but mainly because I know you’ll always have my back,” she captioned the photo.There little brother Taimur Ali Khan also stepped out in his best kurta pyjama to celebrate the festival at his grandmother’s home in Mumbai.

Actor Aditi Rao Hydari also shared pics with her brothers. “From being my props in pictures to always having my back... Thank you broskis! #HappyRakshaBandhan P.S. I will continue to bully you for as long as I live,” she captioned her photo.
