In a sweet picture shared by Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt can be seen tying a rakhi on the wrist of Yash Johar on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar share a rare bond. Karan is her mentor in Bollywood and she almost looks up to him as a father-figure in Bollywood. No wonder then that the pretty actor took time out and tied a rakhi on the wrist of Karan’s son, Yash.

In a picture that took many by surprise, Alia can be seen tying a rakhi on the wrist of little Yash, who seems a little lost. Wearing a green shirt with no makeup, Alia is a picture of sweetness. Yash, meanwhile, looks every bit a munchkin with his mop of golden hair. He is seated on what looks like his food chair. Sharing the picture, Karan wrote: “Big sister love!!!! @aliaabhatt and Yash!!!! #happyrakshabandhan.”

Raksha Bandhan was a happy occasion in planet Bollywood with many A-listers celebrating the special day with her siblings. Among them were toddlers too. Taimur Ali Khan, Inaaya Naummi Kemmu and Aaradhya Bachchan leading the pack. Among the biggies who shared their Raksha Bandhan photos were Aamir Khan, the Pataudis, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan Nanda, the Boney Kapoor-Anil Kapoor clan and many more.

Back to Alia, the pretty actor has her hands full with work. She has two big projects in hand, Ayan Mukherji’s Bramhastra where she shared screen space with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan and Karan’s production Kalank (which boasts of an ensemble cast including Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha among others) and his directorial, Takht where Alia will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Janhvi Kapoor.
