Going by its performance at the ticket windows, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s Khamoshiyan, it seems, has gone completely silent. This supernatural erotica only managed a dismal Rs. 6.67 crore at the box office in three days since its release.

The only saving grace for the Bhatt clan, if at all it could be translated thus, is that Khamoshiyan's run at the BO was better than that of the other two releases this week: Hawaizaada (Rs. 2.32 cr) and Rahasya (Less than Rs. 1 cr).
Khamoshiyan, starring Gurmeet Choudhary, Sapna Pabbi and Ali Fazal, was made on a budget of Rs. 11 crore (including marketing) and the makers have already collected Rs. 7.5 crore from satellite and music rights.
The film didn’t get positive reviews and that’s reflected in its business as well. (With inputs from IANS)
