Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh welcome baby girl

Bollywood actor Geeta Basra and cricketer Harbhajan Singh were blessed with a baby girl on Wednesday in London.

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his wife, Geeta Basra have been blessed with a baby girl, according to a report in Dainik Bhaskar.

Confirming the news, Harbhajan’s mother Avtar Kaur revealed that Geeta gave birth to a girl on Wednesday in London.

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and model-actor Geeta Basra married at an intimate ceremony in a gurudwara near Jalandhar on October 29, 2015. The two tied the knot after an eight-year courtship.

Singh met Basra in 2007 when she had just begun her career in Bollywood. After a couple of forgettable films, such as Dil Diya Hai (2006) and The Train (2007), the actor decided to concentrate on her personal life.

Geeta was a native of Portsmouth, England, where her parents run a convenience store.
