She has worked with an array of directors as well as actors in her 15-year-long career. Now, Kareena Kapoor Khan has teamed up with Arjun Kapoor for R Balki’s next. And the filmmaker, while praising the actor, feels that she is simply “effortless”. “Both of them (Arjun and Kareena) are phenomenal actors. As for Kareena, specifically, she has so much depth and talent. No wonder she is so effortless. I am so angry with myself for not having worked with her earlier. I think she is possibly the most gifted actor in this industry,” says Balki.

Now that he has completed his new film, is he thinking about what’s next. “Some idea will come up. It can’t be like, ‘Oh, now I have to make a film, so I have to think of an idea.’ I don’t have a dream project or anything like that. Whatever I make, at any particular time, becomes my dream project. I just hope I get another good idea for my next project,” says Balki, whose wife, director Gauri Shinde, is readying for a big-budget film, starring Alia Bhatt. “It’s a unique movie with an interesting story. I am looking forward to watching it as soon as it is ready,” he says.
