IN PICS: Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira on sets of Raees

In new pictures going viral on social media, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and Pakistani actor Mahira look every bit their character in Raees.

Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan are shooting for their next, Raees, in Ahmedabad. New pictures from the sets are now going viral on social media.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the upcoming flick is set in 1980s Gujarat and will tell the story of the eponymous bootlegger (Shah Rukh) whose business is highly challenged and eventually thwarted by a police officer. The film also criticises the prohibition of alcohol, prostitution, and drugs in Gujarat.

In the pictures, the 50-year-old actor sports a traditional look with a white kurta and black headgear. He also dons black goggles as he greets fans around him.

Raees also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a pivotal role and will hit the theaters on Eid this year and is set to clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan at the box office.
