Kapil Sharma thanks Akshay Kumar for a ‘surprise visit’, says can’t wait to watch Kesari

Kapil Sharma shared a picture with Akshay Kumar and Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi when they visited him at his place on Friday. Also in the picture is his wife, Ginni Chatrath.

Comedian Kapil Sharma has shared a picture with actor Akshay Kumar and thanked him for giving him and wife Ginni Chatrath a surprise visit. He also said that he is keen on watching Kesari, Akshay Kumar’s latest release.

Sharing a picture, Kapil wrote: “Congratulations for the biggest n grand opening of #kesari @akshaykumar paji.. can’t wait to watch it,n thanks for the surprise visit with @ghuggigurpreet paji love u both @ginnichatrath #love #friendship #gratitude.”

Also in the picture are Kapil’s wife Ginni and Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi.

Kesari has proved to be the second biggest opener in Akshay’s career, earning ₹21.50 crore on day 1, the first being Gold which made ₹25.25 crore.

Tweeting about Kesari, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote: “#Kesari roars... Sets the BO on ... Emerges the biggest opener of 2019 [so far]... After limited shows in morning/noon [#Holi festivities], the biz witnessed massive growth from 3 pm/4 pm onwards... Evening shows saw terrific occupancy... Thu ₹21.50 cr. India biz.”

Kesari tells the story of the heroic fight in 1897 between 21 Sikh soldiers of the Sikh regiment of the British Indian Army against a force of 10,000 Pashtun tribesmen.

Kapil Sharma is enjoying his return to The Kapil Sharma Show. Speaking about him and how wedding with Ginni Chatrath has helped him, comedian Bharti Singh had said that Kapil had become patient and calm.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, she had said: “Ginni is taking great care of Kapil, right from yoga to sending him to the gym to boiled vegetables and everything else. Kapil bhai has also become very calm and patient.”
