Sidharth Malhotra talks about working with Kaif on their upcoming film; calls her a “fitness freak”

So far, Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra has only been cast opposite his contemporaries. He shared screen space with Alia Bhatt in Student Of The Year (2012) and Kapoor & Sons. He worked with Parineeti Chopra in Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), and with Shraddha Kapoor in Ek Villain (2014).

In his upcoming film, however, he will be seen romancing an actor who is “far more experienced”. Talking about working with Katrina Kaif, Sidharth says, “Even with the kind of experience she has, I was surprised to see that she doesn’t take her job and position in the industry for granted. She still puts in the hours while shooting. She sweats it out in the gym to look her best. We used to often bump into each other at the gym. It was great to have another fitness freak around. She was always up for rehearsals and improvisations.”

The actor and Katrina will soon join Alia, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur for an upcoming tour in the US.
