Katrina Kaif’s mother is In India but not to meet Ranbir Kapoor’s mother

Katrina Kaif was overheard telling someone that Suzanne Turquotte is currently “recovering” in Mumbai, and is busy with her NGO work.

Of late, Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have been in the news for all the wrong reasons. While their alleged separation has been the talk of the town, other reports have claimed that the two are also having trouble shooting together for director Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos.

The couple recently made headlines again when Ranbir’s mother, actor Neetu Kapoor, was asked about her son’s alleged break-up at an event. She had reportedly said , “Sabki apni apni life hai, apni zindagi hai… so, main kuch nahi bol sakti. Main kya bolun? (Everyone has their own life... I cannot comment on that. What can I say?)”

Soon after, rumours started doing the rounds that Katrina’s mother, Suzanne Turquotte, had arrived in Mumbai to have a word with Neetu about the couple’s relationship. On March 30, Katrina denied this news in a report that also revealed that her mother had come to Mumbai from Puducherry “to undergo an operation”.

In an interview to HT Cafe on March 30, Katrina had told us that she is doing a lot of charity work with her mother, who runs an NGO. She also revealed that she is helping her mother set up a school for orphan children. “My mother is personally working on the curriculum. I overheard her talking to someone on the phone a few days back; she was saying that in the current education model, kids are finding it very difficult to pay attention [to their studies]. So, she is trying to make learning fun for them. My contribution, however, is limited to the financial aspect,” Katrina had said.
