A day ahead of the Indian Independence Day, Parineeti Chopra has draped herself in the Union Jack. The actor has shared two new posters from her upcoming film with Arjun Kapoor, Namastey England.
In the first poster, Parineeti is seen carrying the British flag as a dupatta while in the other one, Arjun is wearing it on his T-shirt. “Love can travel any distance,” reads the tagline on both posters. “A film that I still can’t believe I am a part of!!! From Punjab to London, we are here to say NAMASTE ENGLAND !!,” she tweeted on Monday. “No mountain is high enough and no distance far enough for love! Presenting the #NamasteEnglandPoster,” wrote Arjun in his tweet.
Namaste England is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s hit 2007 romantic movie, Namastey London. It will also be directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and will release on September 19. Vipul said about his lead characters in February, “Both their characters are from Punjab and this is the first time that Arjun and Parineeti will be playing genuine lovers. Away from the camera, they are good friends and are always joking and pranking. There’s a lot of camaraderies and it’s going to be fun working with them.”
