Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput recently visited his birthplace, Maldiha in Bihar’s Purnia after 17 years. The visit was to fulfil his late mother and grandmother’s wish, reports said. Pictures and videos from his Bihar visit have surfaced online and fans can’t get enough of their favourite actor. Sushant also spent some quality time with friends and family during his stay in the village.

A SpotBoye report claimed Sushant’s mom and grandmom had prayed for his prosperity and asked for a mannat that when he becomes successful, he will visit the Bhagwati temple in Khagaria and shave his head. While the actor did not shave his head, he trimmed a strand of hair to complete the ritual, it added. Sushant lost his mother in 2002 and that is when he moved to Delhi.

Sushant’s father KK Singh, his cousin and a few relatives accompanied his on the trip to his birthplace. The actor spent two days in Maldiha with his family and later went to Bornai to stay at his late mother’s ancestral home, the tabloid reported.

Last seen in the box office dud Sonchiriya, Sushant had spent a long time working on Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath that marked the Bollywood debut of Sara Ali Khan. He has recently wrapped up the shoot of Nitesh Tiwari’s Chichhore. He also has Tarun Manshukhani’s Drive in his kitty.

On the personal front, Sushant was rumoured to be dating Sara but the duo reportedly broke up and he is currently single. Earlier, his closeness to Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon allegedly caused him to break up with long-time partner and TV star Ankita Lokhande. The duo had been living together for a long time before they broke up.
