Tiger Shroff had a lot of action sequences in his debut film, Heropanti (2014) and his skills in gymnastics and martial arts came in handy at the time. Now, to prepare for his next, Baaghi, Tiger has trained in Kalaripayattu.
A source close to the actor says, “Tiger spent a lot of time to get the postures and techniques of Kalaripayattu right.”

Though Tiger is trained in taekwondo and wushu, Kalaripayattu is new to him. “The film required him to get in a certain shape, and he thought this was the perfect fitness routine for him. Kalaripayattu also helped him with the action scenes in the movie.”

When contacted, the Bollywood actor confirmed the news, and said, “I underwent extensive training in Kalaripayattu before we started shooting. It was an enriching experience.”
