"This is just malicious, unbelievable lies. I had nothing to do with it. Perhaps, I am just imagining that there is a link with the family that I am but there is nor proof, I want to see some proof. Whatever happened was disastrous and something that should have never happened anywhere in the world. But to say that I was responsible for it is just rubbish. I will fight it in court," he said in an interview to Times Now TV channel.

has summoned Amitabh in an alleged human rights violation case filed by a Sikh rights group. The US district court in Los Angeles last year issued summons to the actor after a complaint was filed by New York-based Sikh for Justice (SFJ) and two alleged victims of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

Responding to questions on the emergency under Indira Gandhi, Bachchan admitted that the emergency was a "wrong decision".
